Work as an important tool of physical education in pedagogy of Konstantin Ushynskiy

Abstract

The article provides the current ideas of K. D. Ushynskiy concerning the problem of physical students' education. The role of work is studied as an important and effective mean of physical development of children. It's clarified that in humanistic pedagogy of K. D. Ushynskiy work is viewed as a source of physical, mental and moral improvement of the man. The importance of intellectual work is targeted for the development of physical and spiritual forces, strengthening the health of schoolchildren.
